Thursday (3/19)

Today at the CARE Center, Sarah and I spent some time discussing my plans for the rest of the semester. We planned for me to start on the design and graphics of the first care guide while Sarah made edits as I began to design. The first half of the day I spent working on different designs for the cover and table of contents. After lunch, Sarah decided that after reviewing the care guide, she wanted to switch it up a bit. We decided that instead of the care guide being focused on the specifics of exercise, nutrition, legal documents, etc. we would focus on more small, actionable caregiving guidance that can be applicable to different people and different situations. After this discussion, we had our support group session where we discussed topics such as how to correctly use and check AI for helpful information. The caregivers found this information to be insightful because they could now feel more confident in finding out information and trusting it.
