Thursday (2/19)

Today at the CARE Center, I finalized the draft for the early stage dementia caregiver guide. Sarah and I discussed that once I had a draft, she would make the final edits to correct for accuracy and wording of all of the information. I then began to work on the middle stage dementia caregiver guide and noticed that most of the work would be easier at this point since the organization and general flow of information was finalized. At the end of the day, we had our support group meeting where a new family joined in on the meeting. I made sure to introduce myself and make them feel comfortable in the new environment. I was really happy to see new people at the meeting because it shows how networking and connections can join people together to talk about commonalities they share and support each other. This meeting was also different because I got to learn for information about dementia and hear new stories.
