Today at the CARE Center I worked on a structuring my project with the help of Sarah and her coworker Janay. As a group, we decided that the care guide should be structured into 4 separate books, from early to late-stage dementia, as this would the most practical way for caregivers to learn about their roles and how help their loved one. We decided on some deliverables for the semester as well, such as creating an organized table of each book and its chapters. For now, Janay and Sarah would like for me to work on structuring each book and creating the book with new graphics before I gather feedback on the care guide. Once a rough draft of the care guide is created, I will be able to ask for feedback and hold focus groups to receive information about what should be added, changed, or removed. It was a successful day getting to meet new members of the team for my project as well as focusing on short- and long-term goals. I am excited to see where the project leads and ready to discuss its organization to begin creating.
